There will come a time when everything will fall apart, you will feel that you made a big mistake, but remember that is the time when you need to stick to it because you are now so close to your dreams. It is your final exam. Pass out with distinction.

Never Depend on Group: Remember, don’t look for a group or any individual who will help you or will become a support to you, never wait for that. Start by yourself all alone as a lone ranger. You will have to do it by yourself, it’s your way, your passion you will enjoy the fruit no one else. Be brave and chase your dreams.

Dream Unnecessarily Big: I can recall the movie Inception where at a point Tom Hardy quoted to Joseph Gordon-Levitt “Think at least big in your dreams.” What happens in life too, think big, no matter if it is unnecessarily big or looks foolish, even the foolish one can become a reality, only you just need to believe in yourself.

I have felt so confused and overwhelmed not knowing what I am going to do with the rest of my life. If someone has not already thought of this, they most likely will because the majority of people have to have serious questions based upon what they want to make a career out of. However, some people have always known what they feel passionate about and can make a career out of. Ever since I was young, I have always loved houses from interior to exterior and even structurally with floor plans. In third grade, I decided I wanted to be an interior designer and it was not until last year, my junior year in high school, that I figured out it would not be the best job field for me.…

I know many people. Some of them are amazing at a sport in which I only possess mediocre skills in, others are able to maintain their high standard GPA's, while others keep their commendable reputations of perfectness. So, I know many meritable people, and then there is me, and for a girl who has failed so many times in her life ( tests, sports, a vain attempt at artistic skills) it becomes a little delusive to continue to believe that one day I will "triumph." That one day I will "get my time to shine. " You eventually grow accustomed to always hearing "no", receiving the letter that reads "we are sorry to inform you that..." or simply having another door shut right into your face, and after a while, per say my sixteen years of life in…

Giving up can better be defined as the ceasing of belief that something you wish to happen might be possible. In the autobiography Night written by Elie Wiesel, a Jew during World War II, who was sent to a concentration camp, we witness an example of a prisoner of war giving up. Wiesel has strength until the very end of his journey and right before liberation by the americans he looses hope as his father passes away. In life, many prisoners give up hope because of the fear they will never see their loved ones or old life again, little is done to console them and conditions are often harder and rougher than those of their more privileged prior life and with their lack of freedom it is difficult to adjust to the new normal: their lives in captivity, and hope can be lost because of religious discouragements . However, as a person in bondage having a reliable something or someone to put faith and trust in can be motivation enough to ‘keep hope alive’.…

I have always considered my relationship with writing to be very insignificant. Although I enjoy spending time verbally expressing my thoughts and feelings to others, it becomes difficult when these thoughts and feelings are expressed through writing. Throughout my adolescent years, I would often receive feedback for my writing given by the teacher in the form of a grade. Being unable to effectively organize my thoughts and ideas into words and sentences, I would feel reluctant to continue writing confidently whenever I received an undesirable grade.…
