I am very sad that I have failed to deliver my explanation, but I am compelled to explain my views now and hope this will enlighten you.
You have exercised a verse from the Quran to your Muslim brother, concerning non-Muslim friend. But this exercise has placed you with consequence, by incurring enemy and ruined relationship. It is clear that Islam means peace and to understand verses as instructions, will only cause contradiction. This is a clear proof from your own experience, that a verse you have exercised has negative consequences. It should be without ambiguity that any verse taken as a direct statement, will produce a negative result, so it is very important that you understand with clarity. Allah said that the Quran is made simple and yet the message of the Quran has been profound with sacrosanct and I am sure you

We are endowed with the faculty of intelligence, to apprehend by cognition for knowledge. Allah is congratulating himself for creating humanity and honoured us as the best creation because we are designed to have the insight of the superlative knowledge. It’s exclusive to humans because it is for transcending the soul towards the unseen, to find the apperception of Allah. The human soul is created with the divine essence is what makes the human being superior and diverged from all other creations because it can reach Godly state. Jean-Paul Sartre is a strong proponent of Existentialism which asserts that “existence precedes essence” (682). To expand upon this, Sartre believes in absolute free will where our essence, which can be defined as our human character, is created by the actions our lifetime. To defend this claim, Sartre provides three key arguments to show that “man…[is] the ensemble of his acts” (690). Sartre’s first argument is that there is no determined human nature to make us do what we do, or to excuse what we do. This simply means that a preexisting human nature, which is another term for essence, doesn’t exist and can’t control what a person will do or become.…

What is human identity; is it a characteristic defined by humanism, interpreted into arbitrary degrees of humanity or rather is it the manifestation, or possession of a soul, of divinity? If such defines our identity, then is being human an inherited genetic attribute or is it a state we achieve through rationality derived from knowledge and wisdom? Identity, however, is not always stable; it can be interpreted as a dynamic balance between humanity’s divine and animalistic personas – a debate of “dominance” between rationalism, curiosity and desire. While philosophers, like Plato, describes human identity through the possession of soul, Marc Chagall’s painting I and the Village and Paul Gauguin’s painting Tahitian Woman with Evil Spirit emphasize…

Nicomachean Ethics: Why Friendship is Essential and Not Fickle In book VIII of Nicomachean Ethics Aristotle expounds upon the concept of friendship. After analyzing the paradigms of each of these relationships he comes to the conclusion that friendship is crucial to life. He declares: “For without friends no one would choose to live” (VIII 1158a.5-6).…

In his work ( Existentialism is Humanism), Sartre, one of the most influential figures in western philosophy emphasis free will and work from every aspect to prove the absolute freedom of decision of a human beings. Perhaps Sartre was influenced by the historical events of his time, or, perhaps he was defending existentialism as a philosophical perspective. But what matters is that in the end, Sartre puts freedom of choice first and last. To demonstrate or to prove per se this freedom of choice and decision, Sartre utilizes ethos, pathos and logos by using personal stories, using inductive reasoning and employing several analogies.…

There are two key components of human nature expressed in the book of Genesis. Genesis 1-2 addresses the beginning, when man was created, and more specifically created in the image of God. This is essential, because it displays the “goodness” in not just all of Creation but God’s distinct love for human-kind as we were blessed to be made in his image, “In the first Creation narrative, Genesis 1, God celebrates what he has made and gives humankind a position of honor and responsibility,” (Shuster, 2013). This image includes the gift of rational thought, the capability to love, our spiritual attributes and our dominion over Creation. The Garden of Eden was a temple, a paradise of perfect harmony, encompassing the true and pure relationship that God desired to have with humans.…

In the movie I, Robot we are introduced to a long debated philosophical question: “What makes a human being human?”. Is the essence of mankind the fact that we are biologically unique among the myriad of different species on this planet? Is it the fact that we seem to have transcended our baser needs in order to try and make the world fit us as opposed to us fitting into the world around us? Is it perhaps that we have what people would call a “soul”? Or is it possibly that we were said to have either evolved from our animal counterparts, the primates, in order to be what we consider better?…
