Almost 9% of the US population or about 27 million people, as of 2009 are not able to get or do not take the amount of medicine they are prescribed, because they are not able to afford it this is known as Cost-Related Nonadherence or CRN(Kennedy and Wood 2). This is very bad because it means many people are not getting well as quickly or not getting well at all. That is why I believe that the US government should provide free healthcare for all citizens of the US.

The US government should provide free healthcare for all US citizens. Free health care would insure that everyone has equal access to healthcare. Free healthcare will allow many people to fill and be able to fill their prescription. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) ,an example of
