The kids need to know that they have some freedom, or they are likely to rebel. Some of these rights include the freedom of expression, safety and wellbeing, fair assessment, diversity, and technology. Freedom of expression allows the students to show you their intelligence without taking a test. This shows a more inside look of how the student thinks, and it could help this student in the future. If the students do particularly well on something, then they get to have class outside for a day, etc. By having compromise, teachers can increase the chance of their students being successful in the classroom. Making accommodations is useful, but these accommodations should both support the differences of the individual students and keep up a demanding academic environment. Some skills are necessary and unable to be compromised on, while some can be changed and worked out to help those who are struggling. The skills that can be compromised are skills that are necessary for the class, but they have more than one way of getting done. Therefore, all skills do not need to be compromised, but there needs to be some options (“How To: Use Accommodations in General-Education
