The food that people consume can acquire a positive effect on our health and our danger to obtain certain diseases. Eating healthier, changing daily customs, exercise, and changing environment can advance to a healthier lifestyle. It’s certainly foremost setting limited goals; it eliminates negative distractions, over time this can compose a tremendous impact on your health. My current fitness and nutritional habits are not exactly where I prefer them or need them to be, I am overweight for my stature and build and my eating habits demand improvement. For the better part I strive to eat healthier 5 to 6 days of the week, although, consistently it proves challenging. The elliptical, treadmill, and cycling 5 days a week improved my overall health. I have exceptional energy, enormous stamina, and I absolutely love my mood. Staying active decreases the risk of stroke, colon cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease, heart attacks is one of the leading causes of death in the United States according to the (CDC 2016). Weight training, aerobics, and adding stretching in the future hold an important additional three objectives to my weekly exercise regime. Weight training improves muscles fitness, stretching reduces the risk of injury and aerobics is an added excitement and fun. In principle, moderation means eating only food that the body needs to satisfy but not feel stuffed. Avoiding temptation validates strength and dedication to preserve the right path of healthy living, and happily favorite foods are not off-limits. Smaller portion control when dining out certify over eating, and don’t supersize food orders, whereas it produces extra calorie intake. Selecting fruits and vegetables threatens me the largest, fruits and veggies remain essential for a healthier lifestyle. Although, I adore fruits and veggies, I don’t consume them adequately. Veggie consumption reduces the risk of multiple chronic diseases, and veggies provide a source of protein, fiber, folic acid, vitamins A, E, and C, and other nutrients. Consuming fruits confirms a healthier lifestyle and eating a nutrient rich diet decreases the risk of heart disease, stroke, cancer, and Type II diabetes according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (2016). Despite, nutritional habits, weight management, and improved fitness all deem challenging, overall positive lifestyle changes essentially need improvement in order to live a disease free and healthful
