Further analysis also found out that “social media takes up more time than it is worth”, “the Internet helps me to find research to do my academic papers” and also “I would rather use the campus Library and their staff than the Internet” it is possible to conclude that there are no significant difference between what the American students answered and the Scandinavian students answered. However, it is important to mention both the Americans and the Scandinavian students responded that they “disagreed” regarding if they would use the Campus Library rather than the Internet. As briefly mentioned, this study conducted the differences between the US students and Scandinavian students most when it came to that 8.7 % was not on social media. Quantitative research helped this study to understand the differences of being on social media, however, to expand the research, it could also try to see if there were any gender differences when it came for the usage of social media. Additional qualitative research in terms of focus groups and interviews could also be used to enrich the research further. Lastly, related thesis research regarding in what way college students adopt social media is highly recommended. It is not only beneficial for new social media networking sites in order to get the users, however, it can be a crucial beneficial for college campus, students and even professors to learn how social media has become a crucial part of peoples lives, and also, try to see how different aspects of social networking sites could be beneficial in terms of brining the students closer
