Especially, in the Trifles, a wife killed a husband. Finding reason and motive has an important role in this play. Not only consider the domestic crime as a general murderer case but also consider that as a tragic result from a deficiency of feminism. Generally, marrying with someone means becoming a family with someone and love each other. However, murderer has happened between two who vowed to each other to live together with loving each other. As mentioned above, the wife, Minnie, had lived depressed life as she could not maintain what she wanted and live wherever and whatever her husband wanted. She and her friends do not get along together anymore and even she does not have a child. However, her husband kept insisting his opinion and did not even think to try to hear what his wife wanted. Therefore, Minnie could not bear one-sided life anymore and killed her husband. Both opinions should have been mediated. Therefore, this crime was not adventitious but with reason. For men and also women, lack of feminism caused miserable and tragic effect. In addition, Mrs. Peters and Mrs. Hale who went to house to take Minnie’s belongings to her found out how Minnie lived desperate life and implicitly defended Minnie whereas men did not feel anything when they also saw the belongings. In Trifles, as Minnie was a powerful suspect on crime, people tried to find evidences, and this also shows anti-feminism. The people who looked for a proofs, in other words, so called, the significant people are all men. However, the people who came to take items to Minnie, in other words, so called, the insignificant people are all women. With all these, the people who actually found the signs were women. Men could not find anything. This happened not because women were better than men. This is because communication and appreciation between genders were not formed by anti-feminism which made hard for men to achieve their goal. Also, men did not try to think of Minnie’s side as they thought those are trifles even though Minnie was the suspect. On the other hand, women accidently found motive as they went places where Minnie’s possessions were placed. This displays the absence of feminism certainly. Men failed to uncover the cause of crime as they did not regard men and women equal. Men did not earn anything at the same time when women found all the evidences.
