Firstly, it should cover the history of women’s rights, and the feminist movement. It should also teach the students the everyday strife of women, and how women are treated differently everyday just because of their sex. It should cover the inequalities of our society, specifically those pertaining to social expectations, politics, and economics. The course should force the students to question their current view of women, and should help lead them to a more inclusive view of the female. I believe a Women’s Studies course should leave students with a better understanding of the struggle women must face, and how men are given greater privileges. It seems that it would be a waste of a college course to not make an attempt at bettering the lives of women in the real world, not just the
