Daughters with fathers have a hard time breaking free from their safe place that has been created for them. When you create something on your own, you have a better sense of yourself, your boundaries, and your self-protection. We need to see ourselves in the same love and the same safety, that our fathers intended for us to have (Kortsch). Overtime, we have built up our walls following the abandonment.
