Finally, he has become a trouble kids at that age. However, Zits is so lucky and he finally meets some kind people in his life who help him change his life. “Mary hugs me. She hugs me tightly. It feels great. I haven’t been hugged like that since my mother died.” (180) This part is from chapter twenty one. The author describes that Zits has different feeling when he moves into the new foster family and he is so moved about how Mary treats him. There was a long time that Zits was hugged by others after his mother died, but this time Mary hugged him forwardly who was considered a problem by recent foster family. Related to the theme, Mary gives Zits a feeling of family and provides him a warm and safety environment.
