I believe in deep family connections and that family is the strongest bond in life. For as long as I can remember, family has been extremely important. We spend a very high percentage of our time with each other; therefore we know each other better than anyone else. I don’t think that these connections with family can be surpassed by any other friendship in life. Since I have always been very close to my parents and siblings, this is easily one of the most important values to me. Not only are family relationships important to me, but I also think that the divorce rates are extremely high. I believe that much stricter gun regulation laws need to be in place. It is much too easy for people with bad intentions to find guns and use them to harm other people. There are far too many shootings that happen across the country and something must be done to try to fix this issue. Some people state that to fix this solution everyone must have guns. I believe that this would actually make the situation worse. I think it would lead to more mass shootings because more psychopaths would be able to get their hands and guns along with the fact that there would be more murders would occur spontaneously since guns are always readily available. The cons heavily outweighs the pros for guns, so I believe that guns aren’t best for our society.
I believe that everyone should have a belief in a certain religion. Ever since I was a child, I have attended a small Lutheran church where I have learned to find my place with God. I don’t believe that everyone should believe the same thing I do, but I think everyone should have a belief that they stand for. Whether that be Islamic, Christian, Catholic, or even Atheist, I think everyone should be educated and declare their decision upon the knowledge that is presented to them.
