After visiting the assisting living facility makes me think how the cultures in the United States are changing, it comes down to the family size. If the family is not large enough to take care of the elderly; this one has to be place in assisting living facility to give the rest of the family the space needed to work and do everything else they need or want to do.
It got my attention that the marketing director kept referring to taking the burden out the family. This is odd, when we were children our parents took care of us and we were not a burden, but now our parents become that – a burden.
In the overall, if this the only option for families the place looked very good taking care off. In the area where they have the mentally challenge
