If you look at photos of yourself from earlier, you can see it immediately: ageing.
Ageing is something that can be judged by appearances. Ageing is of two types : intrinsic and extrinsic. Now what is intrinsic aging and extrinsic aging.
Intrinsic aging is the aging that happens to us naturally , it is pure. For example the memory power of a child and a 60 year old man differs drastically this is due to natural aging of brain cells.

It is your SKIN which defines how healthy you are , it is something that defines your outer look.

Indications of extrinsic aging :
1. Increasing roughness, mainly from sunlight that destroy the skin’s collagen and elastin, the skin cells start to turn over in an irregular fashion resulting in scaly patches of rough skin.
2. Spots everywhere due to Constant exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays makes our skin pigment act abnormally, resulting in spots throughout the face, upper chest, and hands—basically, anywhere the sun has shone on.
3. Excessive wrinkling, particularly on the cheeks, neck, and forehead, is usually seen only in individuals who have been exposed to the sun.
4. Sagging skin: as u have seen the malefactor for roughness ,spots and wrinkles is sun….. no wonder , it causes sagging of skin also.

Ageing is an inevitable, irreversible process. The first and the fore most thing that you have to do is to Protect your skin from the sun every day. Whether spending a day at the beach or running errands, sun protection is very much essential. You can protect your skin by seeking shade, covering up with clothing, and using sunscreen that is broad-spectrum, SPF

Not only is the skin sagging and wrinkling earlier than normal, tanning beds cause the higher percentage of spots and wrinkles to appear on the skin.…

It is a stage that most of us haven't faced yet but will eventually participate in it. There is a natural tendency that we categorize people in groups and attempt to sum them up with a perceived collective commonality.…

Chronological age is the number of years a person has lived while functional age is based on how people look and what they can do; a person becomes old when he or she can no longer perform the major roles of adulthood (book). To get a better understanding of how a person 60 and older feels about aging I conducted an interview with my mother. My mother will be 66 in November and for the purpose of this interview I will refer to her as Kathy. Kathy is the 2nd born child with one, now deceased older brother and three younger siblings: one sister and two brothers, all who grew up in Hackensack, NJ.…

The onset of diseases is not something many have a choice in. During late adulthood, the skin continues to lose elasticity, reaction time slows further, and muscle strength diminishes. Hearing and vision decline significantly; cataracts, or cloudy areas of the eyes that result in vision loss, are frequent. The other senses, such as taste, touch, and smell, are also less sensitive than they were in earlier years.…
