An example of this is I went skydiving this summer for the first time because I had heard how amazing it is and did not want my fear of heights to prevent me from living life to the fullest. I am never going to let my thoughts, however horrible they are, define me. However, I realized that I can’t do anything about it until I get there and so just ended up just ignoring all the troublesome thoughts and focusing on my driving until I get to work.
