When it comes to women they are protected all the way with how they can control their bodies and if they want to have a baby or give up the baby. Fathers in this case do not have any say in the child that they helped make and bring into this world. According to the press release on the Roe v Wade case women can have sexual intimacy without sacrificing reproductive choice. But men are routinely forced to give up control, forced to be financially responsible for choices only women are permitted to make, forced to relinquish reproductive choice as the price of intimacy. To me this is unjust because we are a country made by equal rights and if men and women cannot be equal then this country does not stand by its morals. Having more male rights could help families be stronger by either staying together or even prevent a child by going into adoption if the father was willing to take the child after birth as his own and have the mother pay for child support. I do know this is a long process and that there is not many single fathers out there or many mothers who even pay for child support but by having these equal rights can in the long run help the child who has fallen victim …show more content…
In the case that an unwanted pregnancy does happen both father and mother should get together and decided on what they should do for the sake of the child. If the father should want the child and the mother does not the mother should honor that because the is his child too and to decided on not having the child should be an equal decision or worse come to worse decided in the court system. But also too if the mother does not want the child the father should also honor her wishes and come to terms on placing the child in adoption where the child can be raised by parents who would love them.
