The Importance Of Equal Pay In The United States

I totally agree with you. Apple is another great company that promotes diversity. The company also did some progress in equal pay. Apple this past year analyzed the total compensation for U.S. employees and were trying to close the gap they found. Now they analyzing the salaries, bonuses, and annual stock grants of all our employees worldwide. Apple claims that if a gap exists, they’ll address it. And also they’ll continue to make sure they maintain pay equity.

As of August 2016, they achieved equal pay in the United States for similar roles and performance. Women earn one dollar for every dollar male employees earn. And underrepresented minorities earn one dollar for every dollar white employees earn.
