“Education is the best economic policy there is”- Tony Blair. To the entire world Canada is known to be a very fair and equitable country, with equal opportunities for all of its citizens. However, Canada’s government is inequitable to many standards. Amongst these standards, is the right to equal education. In places all across Canada school funding is unfair. Such a case can be observed in Calgary, Alberta. Here in Calgary, the government funds private and public schools almost equally. The private schools receive thousands of dollars of fees from each student, and on top of that they receive 75% of government funding. This is absolutely outrageous, and it shouldn’t be happening! These schools are already receiving more than what they need,
