Careers are one thing that many people have to choose at some point in their life, but it differs between all individuals when the time comes when they actually know what they truly want to do for the majority of their life. The lucky individuals are those who know what they want to be when they are little and are devoted to that all throughout their life. Those that aren’t so lucky, are those that only think they know what they want to be, but then end up changing their minds. Whether they change their minds once, twice, or many times, or whether they change their mind when they are still in college, or after they have worked themselves dead in a career they thought they would love. Unfortunately, I am one of those who have changed their mind time and time again, however, I consider myself lucky that I have made my final decision while still in my early years of college. Some business ethics are as simple as the first rule they teach you in kindergarten, treat others the way you want to be treated. Good business ownership is when the owner leads by example, treats their employees and customers in a nice, orderly, honest manner, and have some sort disciplinary action for those who are involved but do not act in the proper manner (Rose, 2004, p. 120).
