Even though most of it happens on the other side of the globe, that doesn’t mean that it lacks an influence in the daily lives of the American people. In addition, the potential emissions from releasing trees’ carbon in the Amazon outweighs that of man-made greenhouse gases (Rainfall and Temperature). Not only does the common person contribute to the greenhouse effect by driving a car, but that person mostly likely does not know of the jeopardizing crisis that deforestation engenders.
