Educational research, individuals evaluate a variety of areas in education. Research is defined as in taking steps to gather information and to analyze it to have more of an understanding of an issue. In the reading, there are steps in the research process that includes creating a question and collecting information, which leads to answering the question. With answered questions it can add additional information to what is already established. Educational research can improve or even address issues that educators have within the school or classroom. With new developments from the results of research, it can lead to better practices within education. There is always room for improvement and practicing a technique can aid in the learning process of students. There should be a variety of techniques because that there are always different situations that may arise. This can lead to policy debates and the welfare of children’s schooling. The data collection also measures the variables and collects the data from in a larger number of individuals that are studied. The analysis is generated through statistics and breaks down the information into parts to address the research questions. By using all the variables and statics, it can be used in the study and that it can be approached from an unbiased perspective. The types of research designs that can use for quantitative are experimental, correctional, and survey. Experimental research approach, test an idea that where the results can be different for individuals. Correctional designs study the difference between two or more ideas.
