From the “Educational leadership and management: theory, policy, and practice” article, I found that this article have outlined nine leadership models in contingent with six management models which was classified by the author. After I had read through the whole article, I realised there are some relative strengths and limitations of the leadership approaches outline in this article.

It focus on the leader’s strong visions and goals, values and objectives that would inspires the organizations. The strengths of transformational leadership are the strong involvement, commitments and capacities of the organizations members. The leaders are seek to influence the school outcomes rather than on the nature. This approach has the potential to engage all stakeholders in the achievement of educational objectives. Hence, it have the capacity to achieve higher level accomplishment. However, this leadership might be seen as autocratic, as the leaders (principal) might influence the followers (teachers) believes.
