Education promotes greater interpersonal attractions and more positive reactions between the disabled as well as the non-disabled individuals of the society. It helps in the successful transition of disabled individuals into employment and the society. Education of the disabled removes the tag that they are not economically contributing citizens of the future, which increases their expectations and allow the disabled in progressing up career ladder (Sterling & Huckle, 2014, p. 48). It is essential for promoting the autonomy, full citizenship and self-determination of the disabled, thereby eradicating discrimination. Investments in the education of the disabled play a significant role in improving and sustaining the on-going developmental efforts of the society (Sterling & Huckle, 2014, p. 68). Education also increases the levels of participation of the disabled in fulfilling their civic responsibilities with other members of the society. It enhances the friendships and social relationships of the disabled
