The job market is becoming more competitive with each day that passes and a college degree is the only way to get that step ahead over other applicants for even the simplest of jobs. A higher education isn’t the only thing that is important, an education is important through children and adults of all ages and our educational system is failing to provide the education everyone needs. The US is failing in math and sciences alike, teachers are treated unfairly and given poor wages and benefits, and standardized testing has become the priority for most schools. The nation’s behavior has plummeted to a new low that even our own people are going at each other’s throats and the country is tearing itself apart by the inside. The education system is flawed and no longer pumping out the bright students that may one day lead the country because of debt and the poor treatment the teachers are receiving. Finally, the amount of debt the country has accumulated is slamming the nail in the coffin. The American people no longer have enough money in their pockets to keep themselves afloat, how could they even keep the country as a whole afloat as well?
