However many people are not a fan of it, they think that dogs are our pets, our friends, and family and eating them is unacceptable. Whenever someone asks me “why don’t you eat meats?” I will simply turn back to them and ask “do you eat dog meats?”, and I always receive an answer with an utterly no then they will start to point out the reasons and to state the “differences” between pets and animals. I was explaining at first, yet not most of them are listening, then I gave up on appealing to anyone and just answer “I don’t want to hurt the animals.” They may not look alike, but they share a lot in common, you may pet dogs and cats, but there are also people petting chickens and pigs, I see no differences in any case.
