Studying English is hard for all students, especially for Chinese students who are called ESL (English as Second Language) students. Every college has a variety of Clad distributed in college of the different department buildings. The different Clad can help college students to solve different kinds of the problems. ESL Clad can help ESL students to improve their grammar, writing, reading, listening, work as a term…etc. ESL Lab is very useful place to help ESL students improve their English. ESL English teachers know the situation that students tend to discontinue on the lecture and teach students to have the sense to being focus on the class. Most ESL teachers are required ESL students to ESL clad that get more extra study activities to improve themselves. For example, there are so mush tutor in ESL Clad who are the English professional teachers both teach in English class and workshop. This support must come from both an ESL pedagogical view, as well as, an emotional, social, and developmental lens.” Actually, the professor is the people who know about your knowledge level and Individuals situation. English teachers’ expectations effect the achievement and behaviors of students. For example, I took the ESL classes before, and taking English class right now. The professor Mr. John who is a nice teacher that teaches me a lot of academic skill to improve my English When I took ESL 160 class. I learned how to writing a stronger essay, what is the MLA format. How to write a good easy with annotating, analyzing, thinking critically, organizing, editing, and etc. although my first essay does not have a good score, but I still happy because I learned some study skills. He also encourages me to do the study groups which help me to open my mind to create my writing with others classmates. Study group is very helpful to ESL students how to be a good term to working.
