An Argumentative Essay By: Jenna M. Jennings
Why do we go to school? To LEARN! Why do we wear clothes? To be a reasonable person that's not nude! Come on guys, WE NEED DRESS CODES! We need dress codes because without them, school can have a negative effect on students all because of clothes. This doesn't have to be hard, but somehow in the end, it is. We all want a great student environment, but we can't do that without safety. Dress codes were not created to bring down a student, they were created for the benefit of your safety. Whether you like it or not, the staff at your school cares about you and you need to accept it. Be smart, not stupid, accept dress codes.

Okay people, school is not a CLUB or a PARTY! School is a LEARNING environment! We do NOT need to dress like a supermodel everyday for your boyfriend of one week. I'm sad that people have to get worked up about this somehow controversial topic, but please hear me out and let me say that we need to think about our futures. Everyone has one whether you like it or not, sorry. We can't all stay kids forever and we need to prepare for the events to come. If you are really having trouble reading this then I suggest you make a dress code policy of your own and tell me how that goes, because I really want to know. Tell us all about how you’re getting countless complaints from parents. Tell us about how a girl was assaulted. We want to
