When you first walk into a business, the employees make the first impression and that can make or break a deal. Wearing a certain attire or a certain outfit will make you take more pride in your work or feel like you are apart of the team. If everyone wore something different, you would not feel as connected together as a team. Dressing in dress code is something that should be viewed as punishment, but it something that you should take pride in. If you didn’t have a dress code it can be more difficult to show you care about your job. You show more respect to your other co workers and people who use your business by just dressing up a little. If you were to have people come in to your business and everyone was wearing old t shirts and ripped jeans, there are chances that you won’t get to much respect. When i use to work at a law form, a fellow employer of mine would wear jeans and a flannel shirt. When people would come in to get a lawyer and they got him they would ask if they could get someone else, even though he was the best because of the way he carried himself. This shows that people don’t want to work with him because he doesn’t dress professional like a lawyer should look. This means that people will want to work with people based on how they look and how they carry themselves , so if don’t carry themselves with respect then people will not want to work with them.
