Donald Trump's Argument Against Racism

Colin Kaepernick came back into national attention in the preseason of the 2016 season for the first time since he helped the San Francisco 49ers go to the SuperBowl in 2012 by kneeling during the United States National Anthem to protest racial inequality, police brutality, and then Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s views on minorities especially African Americas and Latinos. The first two weeks of the preseason he went unnoticed while sitting on the bench during the Anthem. Week 3 of the preseason he knelt closer to the sideline and was noticed immediately, and as expected cause media, fans, and politics into a frenzy of questions, and anger, calling into question his integrity, respect, and values. My initial views on his protesting of the national anthem by sitting/kneeling were furious. I love my country like many others do, but the way he protests caused me to lack respect for a player I once looked up too early in his career. That’s a fair argument but the fact is he has explicitly said he doesn’t agree with what the flag has and is currently representing. Diving more in-depth to what this means and what he has said related to this statement saying how he doesn’t like or tolerate the way all minorities are treated in America. He’s continued to say that he is grateful for what he has and what the country has done for him, but the majority of people don’t have millions of dollars and a platform of this magnitude as he does. So, by saying that he is protesting the national anthem, the flag, or the United States, those people haven’t paid enough attention, aren’t aware, or choose not to view the issue in this
