Companies like AT&T have created the Chief Diversity Officer, which is a program that meets every three-months and is used “to formally integrate, leverage and grow enterprise-wide initiatives for AT&T to become best-in-class in diversity and inclusiveness.” Programs like the CDO help to observe the work of their company and how the practices set are included in the everyday workplace. The company of Coca-Cola has introduced diversity training into their company to educate their employees on the meaning of diversity. It is also used to encourage the employees on how diversity should be used throughout the workplace to efficiently maximize their work.
