When going abroad try not to mix with people from your own country (This is very typical from Spaniards or French) and try to mix with people from other sides of the world, with different cultures and languages so you can improve or learn other languages. At this moment the culture C mentioned above will be created and can be much better than the individual ones.
For this you need to be friendly and sociable person, with an open-mind, and an outgoing personality. The most open you are, the easier will be. If you don’t share empathy people will not friendly to you. It is not nice to be with people looking sad, angry or irritated.
Try to be one of the people that start conversations and not the ones that are in silent and wait for someone to ask something to talk. Also be patient, and conscious that if something about you (like can be for Italians too much body language) upset or is not liked by others, try to change it to make everyone confortable.
