America has a racist past towards the treatment of Africans. It first started in Virginia 1619, when the first American fleet arrived with the stolen Africans. The ships were practically human sized barns. Many people died on the trips to America and you were a lucky one if you died. At its peak, the group had 3,000,000-6,000,000 members and though currently it only has 5,000-8,000 members. However numbers have never really told of the impact the KKK has had on the American psyche. Why do these people think they’re any better? The members they all covered their faces and any type of identification!
