DIETING DOES MORE HARM THAN GOOD

The first thing that people will think when they heard a word diet is about eating less and it is unpleasant weight loss regimen. According to (Wikipedia, 2014), the meaning of diet is “the sum of food and drinks consumed by a person daily” and it is relate to developing a positive relationship of food and eating. Diet can be done on a healthy way or it may be lead people to harm themselves. A healthy diet is one that helps maintain or improve overall health and will impact on a good health. Harmful diets happen when people fail to provide their body with the correct amount and types of nutrients. Calories, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins or minerals are some example of nutrients needed by our body. Human bodies really need and depend to the nutrients supply in order to stay healthy. Nutrients are also needed in order to fight for any diseases. Besides that, human need a healthy body, to their daily activities comfortably. The nutrients: proteins can be found in meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, eggs, and other plant based foods. Proteins are really needed for the growth and development of tissues. It helps to substitute old, damaged tissues with new tissues. So, if somebody practices a diet which is lacking of protein, he or she can get diseases such as kwashiorkor – (Choices, …show more content…
On the other hand, it also could be good ways to have a healthy body as it help us to gain energy, contribute to an adequate body weight and can helps to maintain our brain’s health. Thus, we should enjoy our life through careful selection of diet and should seek a correct medical advice from a qualified professional and by doing a selective eating. It is not a about strict food intake limitation or preventing yourself from the food you love, it is about taking an appropriate amounts of all essential nutrients and an adequate amount of water. It is true that dieting may not lead to improved health. Dieting for long term weight management has not been shown to be successful, and may put you on a roller coaster of weight loss followed by weight gain. Having a healthy diet is really easy and it is not that hard as many people get confused by imagine thing without authentic verification. It is just about eating a certain variety of foods in the correct proportions, and eating the right amount of food and drink to get and maintain a healthy body weight. Avoid bad eating habit and applies a healthy diet in everyday life. As for me, I think that diet can be really beneficial and gives us a lot of advantages, if and only if we practice the diet
