Growing up and being inside of the classroom, we would have never realized whether or not our classroom was democratic. Though as we grow older, we begin to notice that it is a very large factor in raising successful children. A successful classroom consists of many factors, but the most important, is that teachers understand the democratic values of their students, conveying guidance and structure that support values of democracy. In the real world, democracy is what brings Americans together and makes us strong and unified. The classroom is no different, implementing different democratic values within the classroom, can help make a class room productive. Some of the job responsibilities might consist of: Line leader, teachers helper, paper collector, etc. I would set up my students desks in groups of four with my desk in visible sight of all students, so that they can all see me and get to me when needed. Their desks will be grouped together, to promote group learning and interaction. Constant communication and interaction with my students’ parents will also be something as an educator that will happen in my classroom. Making sure that parents are engaged and active in their child 's education can help motivate a child to learn, which will help them succeed and feel more in-control of their education. The content in which I teach in my classroom will reflect stuff that is going on outside of my classroom, that also has to do with my students lives.
