Darwinian Evolution: Darwin’s theory contributes to the evolution of the sloths as it provides suitable evidence that the Three-toed sloth has evolved from either the same ancestor as the Ground sloth or even possibly evolved from the Ground Sloth. Research can support that the relative Two-toed sloth is closely related to the Ground sloth through DNA tests from fossils of the Giant Ground sloths, but also can be proven as of the common behavioural acts.
