The Importance Of Dayseye In Education

It is comforting to know that the word Dayseye means “Day’s eye” or “eye of the day” because I feel like the discussions we have during Dayseye about our days, life at home and life at school creates a community that is reflective. I believe that during our daily Dayseye questions we stumble upon topics about our daily lives in and out of school that create conversations which I value a lot because they are very insightful. Our daily Dayseye questions allow us to open up to each other about small parts of our lives, and it is as if the eyes we use to perceive our own individual worlds come together during our discussions and allow us to relate to one another and form a bond.
