Do you know why teaching cursive in schools is important? Cursive should be taught in schools. Scholastic news says that studies show that writing by hand can improve critical-thinking skills and coordination. It is found that 45% of people still write in cursive and keep improving their skills. Critical-thinking skills are something not every American knows how to do, but if you start writing cursive you will improve on your critical- thinking skills. Other people have trouble with their coordination skills, one reason why is because they don't know cursive, but if they did, it would improve greatly.
