The Importance Of Cross-Functional Teams And Trust

Cross functional teams and trust are important for them to keep a trusting relationship with each other by “building faith in other’s intentions and behaviors” (Kreitner & Kinicki, 2013, p312). In order to quickly build trust in this type of group setting the propensity to trust can quickly create a leap of trust among members of a cross functional groups (Kreitner & Kinicki, 2013). Trust is a strong factor that makes cross functional teams successful.
The cross functional teams are optimistic in their expectations in each other’s behavior in their decision-making skills. Through the groups trust they are more open and honest in their communication and even forgiving unforeseen cracks of trust (Lewicki, McAllister, Et al, 1998). Trust in
