Credibility is something that you need to become successful and it has to be part of you. According to “Public Speaking: An Audience-Centered Approach,” written by Beebe, credibility is based on the audience’s perception of a speaker’s competence, trustworthiness, dynamism, sociability. A real-life scenario is where a person’s credibility has been challenged is a person that is selling their product to a live audience. That person has to let them know that its product is useful and it will work. In a way they have to inform and persuade the consumers. They have to be prepared for any questions or concerns. If that person is giving false information or the product is not working. They can lose their credibility in future job offers and income in this product. To fulfill the responsibility of an ethical communicator is to be true to yourself as if you would want someone else to do to you. You should be real familiar of what you are talking about. Be prepared to answer some questions. If you do not know they answer to their question then tell them that you will look more into it
