These people must be innovative, creative, must have an open mind, be dependable, and reliable for a team to be successful. The second step to having a productive team is having a clear distribution of leadership. A distribution of leadership is when a member of the team steps forward to deal with a situation that they have the skills and knowledge as well as motivation to handle the situation (Clawson, 2012). When leadership is distributed among the members of a team, the person who has the best knowledge and motivation to handle a situation will step forward to handle the matter. The third step requires the level III leader to have extraordinary coordination skills so that they can mobilize and coordinate the efforts of the team (Clawson, 2012). It is important for leaders to provide creative support to their teams and prevent the team from being bullied by bureaucratic processes. The next step is the leader is to put people in the correct role for their skill levels and personalities (Clawson, 2012). As a level III leader, they should have a clear understanding of their employee’s strength and weaknesses and what they do best. As Christian leaders is important that in all things we do not do them for selfish reasons such as personal gain or wealth. As a Christian leader who practices level III leadership skills they should always put their employees 1st by having a clear understanding of what that person requires or needs. They should help that person grow their knowledge and skills as well as develop the Christian worldview. Christian leaders must take the first step of guiding others in their path so that they can be successful as well as
