The Importance Of Crate Training Dog

Improved Essays
Crate training dogs teaches them that their crate is a happy place that they can go when frightened or wanting some time alone. Their crate can become their bed and can give them a safe place for traveling in the car. A crate trained dog is much easier to potty train than a dog that is not trained.

If the dog is trained correctly, the crate becomes his indoor dog house or den. It will be his favorite place to sleep and to eat. Since it mimics the den, the pet can feel that he is safe in the crate.

It is important that you do not force your pet into a crate. The more your force the pet into the crate, the more they will hate the crate and you will both be miserable.

The crate should be in a room where you spend a lot of time with he pet.
