When kids get trophies, sometimes they don’t need it. They develop unhealthy self-esteem. Kids don’t play for the win. Trophies don’t give room for mistakes. I don’t think that everyone deserves a trophy.
If you get a trophy, you might develop unhealthy self-esteem. Researchers have 20 years of research to prove that if you overvalue kids, them, they develop narcissistic traits. Superiority and entitlement aren’t going to help in tough times. If you tell someone how wonderful they are, it just shows their belief and that’s about narcissism.
Although it’s not about winning, it’s about playing the game. People who play sports, they don’t always play for the win, they play because they love to. Tropies just make people seem special when they don’t need to. They just sit on the shelf and take up space. You don’t always have to go for the gold, you just play.

If you earn a trophy, then you will learn to work harder. But, if you do earn a trophy, you will think that you don’t need to work harder because you think that you don’t need to. When you are in your 20s, not everyone is going to give you a trophy for not realizing your mistakes.
In conclusion, kids should not be given a trophy. It’s unhealthy. It’s not about winning. And it does not make room for mistakes. People need to learn how to do things without a
