The Importance Of Congressional Activities In A Business

Improved Essays
I used the CDP activities to assess my current skills working on those areas that I can further develop, areas I am weak in as well as skills I assumed I would need in the future. So, in doing that I could identify my specific learning needs, based on expectations of my future job role, performance, professionalism, and career aspirations.

One of the many CDP events I attended which I found to be important is researching company information as how would I work for someone not knowing anything about the company or its values so from this one I learnt the importance of knowing things about a company before doing applying for a job or doing an interview in the future. Knowing this means I have a better chance of getting the job because I would know about the company as a start as I would have researched and covered everything I need to know but also, I would have an idea as to what the company is looking for in a potential possible candidate. To do my research on companies I was taught to use some databases which was helpful and will continue to be helpful in the future some of these are Mintel or keynote, business source complete and lexis library.
