College is a privilege that requires many credentials and admission requirements no matter where you go. It may require extensive expenses and payments, but that’s how college operates. You get admitted and are required to pay for the experience and all that you’re learning. That’s why I know for certain that college tuition should, and has to be, paid for in full and accepted as such.
College tuition shouldn’t be treated as a burden. Nothing that has significant numerical value is just free for you take, and college tuition just happens to be something that is treated the same way. From my perspective I see college as an esteemed representation of privilege rather than an absolute right. I do believe that education is a right for all, but a college education should be earned. From a website that compares pros and cons about college they state that, “On average a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree earned $30,000 more per year than a high school graduate” (College-education.procon.org). If you’re paying for the tuition your college requires it makes sense to mention that it will be worth it in the end. You will more than likely earn a higher salary. So from my perspective it makes sense that you would have to pay for tuition to earn your way to a higher paying career. It just would not make sense for a college to basically hand you a valuable higher education that would allow you to earn high paying job. It already makes sense for colleges to let you earn money towards your tuition from your personal achievement and consistent work ethic. The reason for your specific tuition is to let you know that the college you’re attending is worth it. I do realize that tuition can get a little steep considering the other aspects of college you have to pay for on top of tuition, but eventually with continued effort you should be able to
