I believe that college is important because it’s beneficial in the long run. There are many reasons why it’s a big deal to me. First of all, today’s minimum wage isn’t enough and college would definitely get me to a high paying job. The demands get more expensive each day. However, not just financially but for the opportunity and intelligence that comes along with college. The privilege we have to be offered a name in this world is astounding. With that being said, I despise the fact that some people in the US don't take advantage of this opportunity. While others are risking their own lives to come for the same chance that we have.
