According to the Oxford Dictionary, influence refer to the the capacity or power of persons or things to be a compelling force on or produce effects on the actions, behavior and the opinions. Strategies also refer to the a plan, method, or series of maneuvers or stratagems for obtaining a specific goal or result. If we combine the words, it will become the art of planning and establishing influence among the public, customers, potential customers or employees. The key to building strategic influence is to know what type of presence and influence you want to have and then build and maintain a diverse network of relationships to grow that influence. Bill Gates or his real William Henry "Bill" Gates III is an American business magnate, philanthropist, investor, computer programmer, and inventor. In 1975, he and Paul Allen co-founded Microsoft, which became the one of the world's largest PC software company. When he is still at Microsoft, he held the positions of chairman, CEO and chief software architect, and was one of the largest individual shareholder. He also was included in the Forbes list of the world's wealthiest people and was the wealthiest overall during period of year 2014. He is one of the best-known entrepreneurs of the personal computer revolution. Gates has always been criticized for his business strategies, which have been considered as anti-competitive which is an opinion which has in some cases been upheld by numerous court rulings. For some people out there, his strategies is bad for the organization but he show to the world that the influence strategies that he used had make the Microsoft Corporation nowadays become one of the best organization in the world. During his career at the Microsoft, Bill Gates famous on certain strategies. One of the strategies is influence strategies.
