In the 1960’s and 1970’s NASCAR begin to emerge in the southeast, in such states as Pennsylvania and Florida (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). A mid central region of NASCAR would be ideal, since NASCAR built race car tracks in the majority of the states along the east coast. It would be wise for NASCAR to have a more centralized location, that is very popular. I would recommend Nashville as the identified location, due it being the capital of Tennessee and an area of tourist attraction.
