According to (Lemov’s, 1997) definition, “it is about making a habit out of what’s efficient, productive and scholarly after the greeting and as the students take their seats and class begins.’’

Students in kindergarten should have an entry routine that they complete it daily when they enter their classroom and it could be as simple as they know where they sit and they were they hang their bags.

In MST classroom, there are things that they do it daily and in order such as, Taking the attendance and helping hand. Before the lesson starts the teacher checks the list and see who’s the helping hand for toady, after that she asks him/her to counts the children, when he ‘she finished she bring a board and she start counting the absents children with the students.
My school teacher had a different routine than Fatima’s teacher, as I said my teacher called the helping hand then she takes the attendance, when the child counts the children he/she hold their hands, but Fatima’s teacher counts her students first then she let the helping hand count the students and when the child count the children he/she touches their heads. I liked what my school teacher do because when she let the child count the students by himself he/she will learn how to count and it will make them more confidantes because some students are so shy so the don’t want to do anything and that help so

Describe how you manage student behaviors. Good classroom management starts on the first day of school. It does not work if you start out by being the “nice and fun” teacher. It is essential that my students know on the first day of school that I will not tolerate disrespect and chaos. On the first day of school I went over my class rules with the students and pointed out where the class rules are posted if students ever need reference.…

My child observation and classroom observation took place at the Mt. San Jacinto Child Development and Education center in the preschool/pre-k (ages 36 months to 54 months) program room. This classroom has 2 teachers and 15 children in attendance during my observation. My study child is a male student age 4 who for this assignment I will refer to as C. The classroom environment as a whole can handle the children within the program, however I will provide a better picture of the entire room to have a clear picture for reflection. As a child walking into this classroom you feel a sense of warmth of both the environment and also from the teacher as she greats all her children individually.…

My Classroom Management Philosophy I believe that classroom management plays a major role in creating a successful classroom. A successful classroom must be a safe learning environment, offer positive encouragement to encourage students to make the right choices, set rules that are understood by the students, and creating responsible students who can take control over their own work. This type of classroom is a major goal of mine because I feel as though the students would really benefit. While I have a great deal of experience managing a large group of children, I have not had the opportunity to have my own class to develop my own sense of classroom management. I feel confident in my ability to control a class full of students, but I look forward to the opportunity to organize my own classroom and set classroom expectations. Since I have not had my own classroom, I feel there are many little things that happen in a classroom that I have not gotten to practice. There are procedures developed for everything students do in the classroom. I want to see my own growth in classroom management because classroom management can make or break a classroom.…

If the schedules, routines, and transitions are planned beforehand and students know what to expect, I will be setting myself up for a classroom with much greater success. Lastly, I was again reminded of the importance of relationships. In my own classroom someday, I will strive to develop connections with each and every one of my students. Classroom management is crucial for every teacher to have in a successful learning environment. I believe that students need to be controlled and disciplined; students at this age need to be guided in the right path. They are capable of self-discipline but need to be shown what the rules of the classroom are and what is the expectation of the teacher. I believe that students are basically good but that the environment around them influences them tremendously. If they maintain busy with instruction then they will not have time to be disruptive and they need to be guided to behave appropriately.…

I believe that in order to have a successful classroom, a teacher must implement a variety of classroom management strategies to ensure that from September until June every single student gets the best education that he/she deserves. Even before the students arrive, one of the first things a teacher needs to do is make the classroom a warm, welcoming and safe place for each individual student. I want to make sure that from the first moment the students enter the classroom until the last moment before they leave that they will feel comfortable asking questions to both their peers and I. In addition, I would like my future students to feel like they can be themselves and at the same time accept their peers for who they are. When I do have…

Final Exam: 1. The quote, “Classroom management is 90% of the job. The remaining 90% is delivery of instruction,” means to me that good classroom management is needed, but you need to teach the students so they can connect to the science they are learning about. The room should be arranged nicely and clear, specific rules should be in place for the daily routine and housekeeping of the class. As their teacher, I should have high expectations and plan accordingly.…
