Everyone in the school needs chromebooks. Not just the grade 9’s. The chromebooks help keep things organized and clean. It keeps all your stuff neat and tidy. I still do not understand why they gave chromebooks to grade 9’s rather than grade 12’s or 11’s. They deserve them much more due to their workload. Chromebooks also speeds things up in many different aspects such as reading writing and also learning inside of class and out. It speeds up the process of research and many other things. Some students do not have access to computers and when in grade 11 or 12, that is a crucial loss. Everyone should have access to personal computers and if they were given chromebooks it would eliminate the problem. Personal computers are something that everybody needs and if we were given chromebooks then it would terminate the problem of not having the ability to work at home and would extend the student’s potential of learning by a large amount. According to www.theatlantic.com if a student does have access to computers and internet at home "They’re being denied equal access to knowledge and information that are part of education in the 21st century."

Saving money is also an ability that chromebooks have. Instead of shopping every year and also during the school year for school supplies, chromebooks get rid of the problem of having to waste money on cheap quality things. Things such as binders, textbooks, pencils and erasers etc. are all things that can break easily or get lost. Whenever I receive a textbook from a teacher, they always tell me not to lose it because they cost over $100 so I better not lose it. If we had chromebooks we wouldn’t need to fear over losing our textbooks when we can access them

Fiction in Classrooms High School English teaches students to think about, react to and solve problems they might face outside of the classroom. In school students are introduced to a plethora of different text whether it be non-fiction or fiction, however, fiction allows the youth an opportunity to creatively explore issues that plague our society. If I had an unlimited budget I would spend the money on Ms. O’s class to buy the students Chromebooks so they had access to technology and were provided with another way of learning. Lastly, I feel that I would have an impact on the students because they would be motivated to learn and feel empowered that they have something nice to learn with. Because students have grown up with technology and use it in their daily lives, it would make sense for schools to start using them as learning aids, rather than books. "Small business owners are now more dependent than ever on technology for growth since their customers and employees are so geographically dispersed,"Although some parents say that they would rather have their children learn from books like they used, our world is changing and electronics in the classroom would be more beneficial. Although some say that it is muscle memory which is why the teachers give notes, 80 percent of the time, the notes will get lost. If students used technology instead of books, the notes would not be able to get lost because the notes would be on their electronics. In addition, it would help if high school was like college in these types of situations.…

This is a great thing for students because it keeps them organized and tidy. For example, teachers put grades and assign the homework on School Loop. Having technology to help students learn is helpful because it is a fast and easy way to look up information. Also students can help each other by texting if they don’t know how to do the assignment. Another reason why technology should not be stopped at school is because if the teachers are not prepared a week in advance, the students would not have a good time rushing to write all their homework and assignments down.…
