The Importance Of Children In My Family

When my mother is asked “How many children do you have?”, and the answer is four, everyone is filled with amazement. They may wonder how my parents handle their offspring. There might have conflicts and common problems in big families that are difficult to cope with. However, disagreement has never happened in my family even though I was given more love than my two younger sisters and younger brother from not only my parents but also from my relatives. When I was a baby, I was often taken to my cousin’s school as well as parks every day by my relatives. When I was more mature, I was given an allowance every weekend while my sisters were not. When I was in high school, I was allowed to drive on my own. I had priority over my siblings in many …show more content…
I am the oldest as well as the most easygoing child in my family. Whereas my sisters often wailed loudly when seeing everybody except my parents, I could easily be taken to everywhere by everyone. During my childhood, I have shown some outstanding abilities such as joining the kindergarten’s aerobic club, entering competitions for kids through the country and winning several prizes or fluently reading my father’s daily newspaper although I had just been to grade one at that time. Over the period of five consecutive years, no students in my class was better than me, which was my first proud achievement. The moment that I stood in front of hundreds of people in a conference room, was given an award for my excellent performance in the elementary school and greeted with applause as well as my mother’s bright smile was absolutely one of the happiest moments in my …show more content…
I realized that I still have to learn many things before approaching life. In the new school, I only paid attention to studying and was so unassertive making new relationships that I could only have few friends. Fortunately, they were definitely true friends who helped me through thick and thin, made me feel I was not alone. Thanks to that motivation, I was finally able to be admitted into the most famous high school in my hometown with excellent grades. Through three memorable years, in a dynamic environment with fervent assistance from understanding teachers, I improved both academic and social knowledge a lot, which was an essential tool for my intention of studying
