Child care or child care space has been an issue in the lower mainland for quite some time. According to Statistic Canada, options for child care are varied, ranging from nannies, home daycares, daycare centers, preschool programs, and before and after school care services. However, looking for child care services can be challenging. It is either there are no spots available in most child care facilities due to the long waitlist or the fees are too expensive for parents.
